Lake Naivasha lies just 2hours from Nairobi and is a very popular destination for all travelers. The freshwater lake boasts prolific bird species and a boat ride at the lake gives you an opportunity to see hippos and a nature walk to the crescent island can be organized. On the opposite side of the lake is Hells Gate National Park where you can walk or ride alongside wildlife, rock climbing, and hiking at the gorges among other activities.  This destination has a wide range of accommodation, from campsites to tented camps and lodges.
